UMITACON 2018

Location: Crowne Plaza San Diego, San Diego, California
Date: September 10-13, 2018

The agenda is a living document and may be found here. Please be sure to save this link as the agenda could change between now and the conference (perhaps even while we are in San Diego).  You may register for the conference here.

Highlights

  • Monday, September 10th – Registration will be held in the hotel lobby from 3 PM – 5 PM. The hotel shuttle will be running from 5 PM to Old Town San Diego (http://www.oldtownsandiego.org) where there are many dining and shopping options available for your entertainment. Our group dinner will start at 6 PM and will be held at the Barra Barra Saloon in Old Town.
  • Tuesday, September 11th – Join us for a day of presentations and exciting content! Tuesday evening is open for you to revisit Old Town San Diego. If you are feeling adventurous, the shuttle also runs by the train station (at the Old Town stop) with a direct line to downtown San Diego.
  • Wednesday, September 12th – We will be leaving at 9:30 AM to visit Computers 2 San Diego Kids (http://www.c2sdk.org). C2SDK is a non-profit organization that refurbishes donated computers to be provided to families in the local community that cannot otherwise afford internet access. We will be spending time in their warehouse putting our technical skills to use by helping with this process. This is an excellent opportunity for us to put our skills to use by helping out those who are truly in need! After we leave C2SDK we will head over to Belmont Park (https://www.belmontpark.com) and Mission Beach for social time and dinner. Feel free to walk along the Pacific Ocean, relax at the beach, play laser tag, or ride the wooden rollercoaster. There are plenty of fun things for everyone to do! We will stick around for sunset and then head back to the hotel.
  • Thursday, September 13th – We will be gathering in the hotel meeting room for another half day of meetings before adjourning to return home.
We hope you can make it to the Conference and look forward to seeing you in San Diego.

Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
