Membership in UMITA is open to annual conferences, provisional conferences, central conferences, missionary conferences, jurisdictional conferences, general boards or agencies. Membership is established when the annual dues for that organization have been paid. Each organization is entitled to one vote during Business Sessions of the Association.

The annual UMITA membership fee is $100. UMITA dues are paid per organization, not per individual. The organization shall designate its voting representative at the time its dues are paid.
